Whilst I have a preference for working in metal, I did enjoy a period when I worked in wood.

After a break-in where most of my wood-working tools were stolen I decided to focus on engineering. However, one project that I really enjoyed was the design and manufacture of a bespoke Dining Table. Using American White Oak this table complemented the existing chairs.

The Blackodised steel inlay made an interesting detail.  Wood can be very unforgiving so great care is required when making joints.
