Water manifold
UNADJUSTEDNONRAW_thumb_bd3b_edited_edite
My very good friend Phil Jennings acquired a lovely 1913 Swift Cyclecar.
However, the upper water manifold was badly corroded and not repairable.
The options were to fabricate a facsimile or model a replica.
So I decided to sculpt a replacement in wax and arranged for casting in bronze by my friends at Red Temple Foundry to create a replica part.
When fettled, machined and shot-blasted this part was fitted and the twin cylinder engine came to life again.

Shot-blast finish simulated original colour and texture
