This work is based on the classic sunflower. This flower head is offered as a wall hanging, in two sizes. The central seed head was modelled in wax, using seed heads set in wax to show the fantastic arrangement incorporating the 'Fibonacci number series'. The spirals can be mesmerising. I then made a mould from which wax impressions are sent to Red Temple Foundry for casting. Stainless steel petals are then formed and TIG brazed around the seed head to complete the work. 

The piece has a hanging bracket and is supplied with a wall-plug and stainless steel screw for fixing.
